(Washington, D.C.) – According to information released today by the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO), the gross cost of the latest House Democrat health care bill is at least $1.055 trillion.  When the bill was unveiled yesterday, House Democrat leaders cited a cost of $894 billion.  The $1.055 figure does not include the billions that will be required to implement this massive government-run system or the cost of legislation to fix doctor reimbursements.

"Who knows what the ultimate price tag will be for this massive government takeover of our health care. What’s certain is that our children and grandchildren will be left footing the bill for Speaker Pelosi’s plan to put the federal government in charge of your health care."
